Selena Hanet-Hutchins Experience: Selena has worked in-house with Allen & Unwin, as Submissions Editor, and Selwa Anthony Author Management Agency, where she was agency Editor & Sub-agent. Building on a background in writing, Selena’s early editorial work focused on screenplays, theatre scripts and poetry – for individual writers, journals and anthologies, and corporate publications and websites. More recently, Selena has worked freelance with trade publishers, literary agents and individual authors, including manuscript appraisal for several awards and editing, proofreading and assessing best-selling mainstream fiction, children’s and young adult fiction, and memoir. She will occasionally work with self-publishers. Selena is also a published writer and has had some plays produced. She has directed and co-directed numerous book and word events and regularly delivers writing and self-editing training to writers.
