Experience: I have operated my business as a freelance writer and editor for more than a decade now and I absolutely love it. I specialise in finance and business-related communications, which has evolved from my background in the financial markets. So I have a broad knowledge of the various financial products and markets available and an understanding of the economic and regulatory forces that influence them.

My work includes writing and editing training manuals, presenter guides, assessment questions, prospectuses, information memorandums, marketing material, economic briefs, investment reports and manuscripts for publication. I’ve edited a number of published books on financial risk management and treasury products and markets.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Economics (Syd), Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment (Securities Institute – now Kaplan), Diploma in Book Editing and Publishing (Macleay College).

Computer capability: Microsoft Word, Internet.

Services offered: Writing and editing all types of finance, economics and business content for both print and online media. This includes all types of editing – from structural and technical editing, to copyediting and proofreading.
