Experience: In-house experience with HarperEducational (HarperCollins, 1991–95) as production editor and then editorial manager; and with McGraw-Hill UK (1987–90) as commissioning editor for business, economics and social sciences.

Freelance editor in Australia and Singapore since 1995, working both directly with authors and also for a variety of publishers including Pearson, McGraw-Hill, Wiley Asia, Allen & Unwin and the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies. Past projects include editing Basic Marketing 2nd Australasian Edition (McCarthy et al.), which won an ABPA Award for Excellence in Educational Publishing, and The Specialised Exercise Trainer (Marchese), which won an APA award in the TAFE and Vocational Education category.

Qualifications: BA Hons English Literature, Sheffield University, UK. Postgraduate Diploma in Printing and Publishing Studies, London College of Printing.
