In times past, an author who self published was considered vain because their writing was clearly not worthy of a publishing contract. How times have changed – and quickly. Self publishing facilitator Jenny Mosher talks about the self publishing landscape in 2018: why and how people are self publishing, and what that can mean to you as an editor in terms of expectations from your clients and opportunities for more work and a broader client base.
Presenter: Jenny Mosher one of the first IPEd Accredited Editors, has forged an unexpected career helping Australians self publish their books via online, print on demand and ebook technologies. Over the last nine years she has seen the industry explode while helping more than 170 Australians 'have their say' by publishing their own book. Jenny is currently Managing Director of IndieMosh, a self publishing facilitation program developed under the MoshPit Publishing imprint.
