The Society of Editors (NSW) Inc. will be hosting the 5th National Editor's Conference in 2011.

The New Horizons theme was officially launched at the 4th National Conference in Adelaide in October this year.

We will be updating this site with information as it becomes available but, in the meantime, here's a taste of what you can expect...

Conference details 2011

The main conference (welcome, panels, talks etc) will take place from 7-9 September but there will be additional activities on Saturday 10 September.

• Best month for weather – as for Olympics
• Spring has sprung
• Halcyon days on the beaches north and south of the Harbour
• Cronulla Spring Festival
• Festival of the Winds (Bondi)

Conference location: Darling Harbour
• Conference venue: Dockside, on Cockle Bay (east side)

• Close to Sydney Aquarium, Maritime Museum, Powerhouse Museum
• Twelve minute walk to Wharf Theatres

• Training workshops well-received by NSW editors can be repeated on demand for interstate editors coming to the Conference
